New mission in Rome

n December 11, 2008, Fr. Superior General Antonio PERNIA and Fr. Giancarlo GIRARDI, legal representative of the SVD Generalate, signed a contract with the Pontifical Commission of Sacred Archeology of the Holy See. The contract states that the Society of the Divine Word will be the administrator of the Domitilla Catacombs beginning January 1, 2009. Also present at the signing were Mons. Gianfranco Ravasi, the President of the Pontifical Commission of Sacred Archeology, along with his Vice President, and Fr. Edvino SICURO, the future director of the Domitilla Catacombs.

Neue Mission in Rom

m 11. Dezember 2008 haben P. Generalsuperior, Antonio PERNIA, und P. Giancarlo GIRARDI, der Rechtsvertreter des Generalats, einen Vertrag mit der Päpstlichen Kommission für Archeologia Sacra des Heiligen Stuhles unterzeichnet. Der Vertrag hält fest, dass die Gesellschaft des Göttlichen Wortes die Administration der Domitilla Katakombe mit 1. Januar 2009 übernimmt. Bei der Unterzeichung waren auch Msgr. Gianfranco Ravasi, der Präsident der Päpstlichen Kommission für Archeologia Sacra, sein Vizepräsident sowie P. Edvino SICURO, der zukünftige Verwalter der Domitilla Katakomben, anwesend.

Nueva misión en Roma

l 11 de diciembre de 2008, el P. Superior General Antonio Pernia y el P. Giancarlo Girardi, representante legal de Casa Generalicia de la Congregación del Verbo Divino firmaron el contrato con la Comisión Pontificia de Arqueología Sacra de la Santa Sede. El contrato declara que la Sociedad del Verbo Divino será la administradora de la Catacumba Domitilla comenzando el 1º de enero de 2009. También estaba presente en la firma Mons. Gianfranco Ravasi, Presidente de la Comisión Pontificia de Arqueología Sagrada y su Vicepresidente y también el P. Edvino Sicuro, director futuro de la Catacumba Domitilla.
